Ever since attending "Brain Camp" at Georgia Tech when I was 10 years old and typing my first HTML code at around the same age,
I have remained intrigued by the nervous system and technology.
A lover of logic puzzles, data, the STEM disciplines, and objectivity, I enjoy problem solving and figuring out why things work the way they do.
Equally strong, however, is the side of me that values creativity, design, philosophy, and the humanities.
What I love most about Neuroscience is its interdisciplinary nature, integrating medicine, philosophy, technology,
and science in a way that allows me to explore all my various interests.
I've wanted to be a doctor since that same Brain Camp 15 years ago.
However, I wanted to be able to do so with a technological perspective in mind, and so I pursued an undergrad degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
There, I learned to design, build, and evaluate human-centered systems. I am now in my final year of medical school, hoping
to continue my education at a neurology residency program next year. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to travel to nearly 50 countries, learning
about people from various cultures/backgrounds and strengthening my belief in the importance of authenticity, vulnerability, empathy, and human connection.
One day, I hope to combine my background in medicine with my love for tech, design, & humanity to create
resources, therapies, & diagnostic tools for those with neurologic and neuropsychiatric disease.
I continue to learn more about myself & the world every day, and
I have put together this website as a means to express myself, track my personal growth, and organize my thoughts & creations.
Hope you like it!
TLDR; I like learning about people and their interactions with...
